Project Details – Slifco Electric provided Design/Build electrical services,
including power, lighting, cable, emergency power and 75-KW standby generator, for a five-story, 32,000-square-foot, 21-unit urban infill residential loft condo project. Using a Design/Build, Team/Construct delivery system, Slifco Electric
was able to provide value engineering to the electrical design and material
selection, leading to a 25% cost savings from the developer’s original budget. Slifco Electric also proposed using numerous LEED construction techniques,
including lighting motion detectors and compact fluorescent bulbs, to provide
a more energy-efficient building.
Electrical construction highlights included:
- Separately metered units
- 21 completely finished units

- 600-Amp 3-phase 120 208 DTE service
