Project Details –Slifco Electric was retained by Adamo Demolition to provide disassembly, relocation and new installations in the Severstal North America
Cold Mill facility in Dearborn, Michigan.
Electrical construction highlights:
- Disassembly (demolition) and relocation of double-ended 1200-amp DC switch gear
- Replacement and installation of duct bank installation, switchgear and motor control
- Installation of 2,400 linear feet of 3/C 750-mcm interlocked armored cable
- Installation of 8,000 linear feet of 6-inch PVC electrical duct bank
- Installation of new 400-amp motor control center
- 8,000 man-hours over 12-month project schedule with
“Zero Lost Time Injuries”
