Project Details
Slifco Electric was selected to be the primary electrical installer for the U.S. Gypsum drywall manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The project required a complete process control installation throughout the 650,000-square-foot facility. Employing more than 125 Slifco employees, the team of electricians and management worked together to produce an excellent end result.
Industrial installation consisted of 72,000 feet of conduit to hold 420,000 feet of cable, leading to more than 400 fully tested control panels. MCC sub-panels were a design/ build addition, and more than 3,600 electrical devices were installed. Electrical construction was not limited to only standard industrial electrical requirements. Comprehensive services extended to upgrading kilns, mills, high-speed conveyor systems, mixing areas, offices, and the parking lot.
This facility is a testament to Slifco Electric’s commitment to quality and customer service. With zero “time lost” injuries, this project was a success for all involved.
